    I put this in here twice because it is that important (detoxing AND rebuilding). In the final years of my illness I began a Juice Feast, which entails drinking only juice for 92 days to allow the body to reset itself (at this point the less my liver had to deal with the better off I was). By shifting to juicing my body was forced to reset itself. I highly recommend Juice feasting before you do anything else. What juice feasting did for me personally: since my body didn’t have to work to digest food for the 92 days, this time gave my body a chance to actually fight the Lyme disease- do some ‘housekeeping’ if you will. Because I was juicing close to ten pounds of dense nutrients every day it was impossible for my body not to respond. I can’t say enough about the benefits of Juice Feasting. It has been the single most important tool in my healing.

    Why are people who juice so crazy about it??? I will tell you why… Because it WORKS! That is why they always incorporate juicing into their life after they heal. Juicing makes me feel good- I juice every day and so does my husband and he is super healthy. Our bodies respond to all of the life force energy that comes from juice.

    meditationI have found that everything is connected illness (physical), my thoughts (mental), my diet etc. Do you want to live or not? If you do then get your thoughts supporting that desire. Most people freak out when they watch their thoughts for an hour… they don’t realize how negative and obsessed they are about things. One year I decided that my New Year’s resolution was going to be… If it feels icky I am not doing it! Meditation will help slow things (mind patterns) down a bit… hopefully then you can decide if these thoughts are helping you or contributing to your illness/story/problem.

    Goji berriesOn a nutritional level, Goji Berries are unmatched by any other food. They are loaded with 18 kinds of amino acids (six times higher than bee pollen) and contain all 8 essential amino acids (such as isoleucine and tryptophan).     Chlorella/SpirulinaThis is the first thing the Healing Light Center in Colorado handed me. The reasons to take Chlorella and Spriulina are endless; they are like giving your body a blood transfusion. It was vital for me to take theses supplements to replace the damaged blood cells, digestive system, and added protein plus it is a great blood cleaner. This is still part of my everyday routine; I take small handfuls of chlorella at a time. Green algae is one of the best things to give our body because we don’t get enough greens with the standard American diet or most other diets for that matter.
